⚠️ Important Repair Note

Replacing the USB-C port does not guarantee that every USB function will be restored.

In some cases, only charging functionality may be restored. Data communication or other USB functions may remain unavailable because of:

• Failed components elsewhere on the connector board
• Damaged circuit traces
• Burned, lifted, or missing USB-C soldering pads
• Damage caused by a previous repair attempt
• Other electronic faults unrelated to the USB-C port itself

This service covers the physical replacement of the USB-C port. It does not include troubleshooting or replacing additional failed components unless separately agreed upon.

✅ Board Condition Requirements

The USB-C connector board must be in suitable condition for soldering and repair.

Normal wear is acceptable. Glue, epoxy, excess solder, or other material around the damaged USB-C port is acceptable because the complete port will be removed and replaced.

The board may be rejected if it has severe damage, including:

• Extensive burned, lifted, or missing solder pads
• Missing USB-C mounting points
• Cracked or broken circuit board material
• Severe corrosion or liquid damage
• Extensive trace damage
• Missing components unrelated to the USB-C port
• Major damage caused by previous repair attempts
• Damage that makes safe soldering impossible

Boards that are severely damaged, contaminated, improperly modified, or unsuitable for soldering may be rejected.

♻️ Rejected Boards

If your connector board is rejected, you will be contacted and given the option to:

• Have the board recycled, or
• Have the board returned to you at your expense

If the connector board is not received within two weeks of purchase, or if the package is lost, rejected, or never arrives, the repair service will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.
