You must send the entire Vive Tracker 1.0 to us for inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing.

📦 How It Works

1. Purchase this repair service.
2. Ship your complete HTC Vive Tracker 1.0 to us. The buyer is responsible for shipping the tracker to our location.
3. We will inspect the tracker and confirm that the Micro-USB port can be safely replaced.
4. We will complete the repair within 2–5 business days after receiving the tracker.
5. We will promptly ship the repaired tracker back to you.

Please send only the Vive Tracker unless we specifically request additional accessories. Do not include straps, dongles, charging cables, chargers, boxes, or other accessories.

⚠️ Important Repair Note

Replacing the Micro-USB port does not guarantee that every USB function will be restored.

In some cases, only charging functionality may be restored. USB data communication, firmware connections, or other wired functions may remain unavailable because of:

• Failed components elsewhere on the circuit board
• Damaged USB data traces
• Burned, lifted, or missing solder pads
• Damage caused by a previous repair attempt
• Corrosion or liquid damage
• Other electronic faults unrelated to the Micro-USB port itself

This service covers the physical replacement of the Micro-USB port. It does not include troubleshooting or replacing additional failed components unless separately inspected and agreed upon.

🚫 When the Port May Not Be Replaceable

The Micro-USB port must still be present and reasonably aligned inside the tracker housing.

We may be unable to perform the replacement if:

• The Micro-USB port is completely missing
• The port has been ripped away from the circuit board
• The port is severely bent or pushed out of alignment with the case opening
• The circuit board is cracked, broken, or warped around the port
• Important solder pads or mounting points are missing
• Circuit traces around the port are severely damaged
• The surrounding plastic housing is broken or deformed
• The port opening in the housing no longer aligns with the circuit board
• The board has severe corrosion or liquid damage
• Previous repair work has caused extensive board damage
• Glue, epoxy, or modifications prevent safe disassembly or soldering
• Internal components near the port are missing or damaged
• The tracker has other damage that makes the repair unsafe or impractical

A port that is visibly bent or sitting crooked in the case may indicate damage to the circuit board, mounting points, internal frame, or outer housing. In these situations, replacing the port alone may not restore proper alignment or functionality.

✅ Tracker Condition Requirements

The tracker must be in suitable condition for safe disassembly, soldering, and reassembly.

Normal cosmetic wear is acceptable. Trackers that are severely damaged, contaminated, improperly modified, or unsuitable for repair may be rejected.

♻️ Rejected Trackers

If your tracker cannot be repaired or is rejected, you will be contacted and given the option to:

📅 Shipping Deadline and Lost Packages

If your tracker is not received within two weeks of purchase, the repair service will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.

If the package is lost, rejected, or never arrives at our location, the repair service will also be canceled and refunded. We are not responsible for packages lost while being shipped to us.

⏱️ Turnaround Time

Average repair time is 2–5 business days from the day we receive your tracker.
