If your Valve Index controller won’t hold a charge or loses power quickly, this service replaces the internal rechargeable battery to restore normal power life and charging performance.

A weak or failing battery can cause the controller to shut off unexpectedly or not power on at all unless plugged in. Our battery replacement restores consistent and reliable power.

🔋 How to Identify a Battery Issue:

Before sending your controller, test it by plugging it directly into your PC:

• ✅ If it works when plugged in but instantly loses power when unplugged, this is likely a battery issue.

• ⚠️ If it does not power on at all (even when plugged in), it may be a main board or USB-C port issue — these are not included in this repair.

🔧 What’s Included:

• Replacement of the internal battery with either a tested and working OEM Valve Index battery or an equivalent new battery

• Basic cleaning and sanitizing

• Diagnostics to confirm proper charging and operation

• Final power and performance testing

⚠️ Important Notes:

• If we determine your controller’s issue is with the main board (no power) or USB-C port (not charging), we will contact you.

  • You may choose to have it returned or repaired separately (for an additional charge).

• The controller must be cosmetically good, with no major external damage.

• Controllers that are heavily damaged, glued, very dirty, or have unrelated issues will be rejected.

• If the controller is not received within two weeks, or if the shipment is lost, rejected, or never arrives, the service will be cancelled and refunded.
